Marty Luster took fabulous pictures of our Presidents for Impeachment event last Friday (2/22). He posted them at the following website: http://homepage.mac.com/editormard1/PhotoAlbum12.html
Check them out!
I’d also like to thank everyone who helped us make the puppets and signs, and those who joined us on Friday. The puppets were well received by both the morning and afternoon crowds. The afternoon rally was a particularly raucous affair, the way cars were honking while they passed the protesters and puppets on the corner of Cayuga & Green, you would think we were in New York City!! We were also well positioned across from Dan Lamb’s office and he did, in fact, get up from his desk to look out the window to see what all the commotion was about…he didn’t look to happy and shortly afterwards was on the phone….do we think he called the Washington office????
I believe our event Friday is a wonderful lead-in to the March 15 puppet pageant for peace. Puppet builds are scheduled the next two Saturdays from noon to 5 pm at 213 First Street (John Hamilton’s), in the garage at the back of the house. All our welcomed!! We will also need lots of people to be in the pageant, holding signs and props. If interested, please let me know via e-mail or by phone — 277-9219.
Peace,
Alexis
