21-year-old Josh Stieber, an Iraq vet turned conscientious objector, was deployed to Baghdad as part of the Surge from Feb 07 to Apr 08. He’ll be in Ithaca on Friday and in Trumansburg on Saturday as he travels across the country, sharing his experiences and learning everything he can. Check out his blog at Contagious Love Experiment.

House, 5066 Perry City Road to Trumansburg Fair Grounds (3.6 miles).
Simple Prayer Breakfast at 7:00 am in the pavilion on the grounds of
the meeting house. We will have a sag wagon and can shuttle walkers
back to their cars after the walk. Directions from Ithaca:
Turn
left off Rte 96 onto Jacksonville Road in Jacksonville. Right
on
Perry City Road by cemetery. PLEASE
PARK ON THE SAME SIDE
AS THE MEETING HOUSE with
the driver’s side wheels off the
pavement. This is very important so as not to constrict the road way
and create a traffic hazzard, and to avoid ticketing and problems for
our hosts, the Ithaca Friends Meeting. - Josh
will be at the Grassroots Festival
all day Saturday, starting with Common Ground for Peace forum, 9:30 am,
Cabaret Hall. At 3 p.m., he will also be introduced
by
Grumblic Rustic in the Dance Tent.
