International Day of Peace Observance, DeWitt Park, Ithaca

September 21, 2009
6:30 pm

On Monday, September 21st, folks around the world will take a moment in their day to send out energy for world peace.

I hope you’ll honor this Day in whatever way works in your life.

For something special, I hope that you and your family and friends will come to the downtown DeWitt Park at 6:30 pm for a sing-along with JOHN SIMON and his guitar. At 7:30 Debaura Dahl and Dani Novack Land of Dawes will open a silent vigil with an invocation ceremony in the Native American tradition.

All ages welcome – along with signs, flags, posters, information about your own peace and justice group – and your good will for the world.
