PETER JOHN DE MOTT Jan. 6, 1947 – Feb. 19, 2009 Peter De Mott, 62, loving father, husband, son, uncle, friend, peace activist and Catholic Worker, died after a work related accident, February 19, 2009. He is survived [...] [...] Peter De Mott was welcomed by enthusiasic friends and family at Ithaca’s Southside Community Center on the occasion of his release from prison having served his time for spilling his own blood at the army recruitment center in Lansing, NY, on St. Patricks’ Day 2003, on the eve of the U.S. assault on Iraq.
